Sexual Consent

Sexual consent is an agreement between two people to engage in any sexual activity. Consent should be clearly and freely communicated. Consent is voluntary, active and enthusiastic.

Any sexual activity acted upon another person without their consent is rape or sexual assault.
Individuals who are underage, intoxicated, or incapacitated by drugs or alcohol, or asleep or unconscious cannot give consent. If an individual agrees to any sexual activity under pressure of threats or intimidation, it isn’t considered as consent because it wasn’t voluntary or freely given.
